Description
Rigel is considered the seventh brightest star in the night sky, but interestingly enough, the seemingly single celestial body we observe from Earth is actually a star system formed of three different stars! The primary star in the system is a blue-white supergiant around 130,000 times more luminous than the Sun, and the two lesser “costars” (if you will) are bright, blue-white main sequence stars.
So what’s better than a bundle of three white stars, you ask? Why, 100 of them! And while none of these white lollipops are supergiants, they also don’t have temperatures measuring in the tens of thousands of degrees (so there’s no need to fear a burnt tongue!), and they feature a delicious peach taste. Similar to their astrological cousins, you might just find these sweets have the sort of gravity that will pull anyone with a sweet tooth into orbit!
